We have responded to a call to all schools, on behalf of the Parish of Maghera and in partnership with The Newcastle Supports Syria Campaign to raise awareness of the devastating current situation in war torn Syria.
In support of this campaign St Joseph's will hold a "Silly Socks Day" on Friday 11th November. Pupils are invited to wear any silly, coloured or odd socks or tights to school instead of their normal school socks and bring £1:00 donation which will be forwarded to one of the relief agencies providing humanitarian support to the innocent people caught up in the conflict.
