The Eco-Committee were proud to announce their good news to the whole school at assembly.
We have been awarded a second prestigious Green Flag by the environmental charity Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful. The Eco-school's assessment team were "particularly impressed by the continuity and strength of the programme in our school, the quality of the projects we have delivered and the commitment of the whole school."
The internationally recognised Green Flag is this highest award given to Eco-Schools and symbolises excellence in the field of environmental activity.
The Eco-Committee led the whole school learning on our three topics of Waste, Outdoor Learning and Global Perspectives but we could not have done it without the help and support of all the families and friends of our school.
