Miss Griffin and her Primary Seven class had a very pleasant surprise on Friday afternoon when Mr David Huntley from C2K NewsDesk arrived at Carnacaville to tell us that our very own Eva Leneghan was one of the Top 10 winners of the C2K NewsDesk Endangered Animals Competition. He told us Eva had fought off stiff competition from hundreds of entries and the judges were very impressed with her piece on the Sumatran Tiger. Eva was presented with a certificate from David and a C2K NewsDesk Rucksack full of lots of nice goodies. A huge congratulations Eva, we are super proud of you!
