Today at assembly we spoke about St Brigid’s Day. Willow Rooney in P6 stood up and explained story of the cross brilliantly. Well done Willow.
We also celebrated some Irish dancing talent. Girls from McCartney school of dance went to an open competition in Belfast and had some impressive silverware to show us.
Amelia and Rose also attended a gymnastics competition in Belfast, where both girls qualified for the Northern Ireland championships. Rose even came first overall. Well done girls.
Cillian, Adam and Maria represented Lecale swimmers in Belfast on Sunday, and had some impressive medals to show.
Alice in P7 went to Dublin for a show jumping contest at the weekend and won in abundance. Have a look at all her trophies, very impressive Alice.
We also wished happy birthday to lots of boys and girls this week. Happy birthday to all!
Of course, we also had our pupils and stars of the week up to commemorate all their effort and hard work.
