We really are on the countdown to Christmas now at Carnacaville. We talked a lot about advent this week and lit the third advent candle - the candle of joy.
There certainly was a lot of joy at assembly this week.
Oisin O’Hare was celebrated for being a member of the Bolton Wanderers.
Rose Malone won most improved u10 fiddle player and Aoibheann Kelly won most improved guitar player at Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Éireann.
We also had some medal winners from Lecale swimming competitions.
Maya Kinley won at a recent gymnastics competition for her vaulting, floor routine and bar work. She even came 5th overall. Well done Maya.
Shimna hosted a basketball tournament this week. Carncaville children really showed their skill and represented our school brilliantly. Watch this space for a future post on our basketballers.
We celebrated our ‘Stars of the Week’ and ‘Pupils of the Week’, with many boys and girls celebrating all their hard work and effort in class.
We also had our birthdays, so happy birthday to the four children celebrating their birthday this week.
