This week, our Primary 7 pupils attended a safety workshop in Castlewellan Castle. Participation at ‘Bee Safe’ events alerts pupils in how to react to dangerous situations, to understand the role of the emergency services and to develop a good relationship with the various authorities present. The children took part in a variety of different workshops organised by: The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, the P.S.N.I, Newry and Mourne Council and Translink. All of our Primary 7 children thoroughly enjoyed their day and we learnt so much from the leaders present. A big thanks also goes to Castlewellan Castle for hosting the event. Well done Primary 7!
