Botany plants lately?
Recently, the children at Carnacaville have been working hard preparing our new sleeper beds for planting. The Eco Club did an outstanding job filling the beds with stone and soil, preparing for each class to enjoy some gardening activities.
The Eco Club has also planted some pots and placed them into our school greenhouse. We're keeping a close eye and patiently waiting to watch them bloom. With the beautiful weather, we've been regularly watering the flowers.
The P7 class worked collaboratively to plant a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers in their designated bed. They started with cabbage, then added parsley and chives, and finished with Marigold flowers to bring a splash of color. The children are excited to watch their bed grow and are looking forward to tasting their home-grown produce!
