P.4 Niall Mc Cauley received a prize for completing the 5 race Mc Grady Cross Country Series. Niall who also finished in third place overall in the series picked up the overall team trophy for his club Newcastle AC. Facing tough competition between 5 junior athletics clubs both Niall and his Newcastle AC team mates were awarded their trophies by2016 Olympic hopeful Kerry O' Flaherty during a packed awards ceremony held in the Lodge, Castlewellan. Naill enjoys athletics and trains with Newcastle AC every Monday taking part in both cross country and track events.
