Fairtrade Fortnight runs from Monday 22nd Feb 2021 to Sunday 7th Mar 2021. This is a chance for schools and families to come together to learn about the people who make our food and drink, and learn about the challenges they face in doing so.
This year's theme is: Climate, Fairtrade and You.
As a proud Eco-school our hardworking Eco-committee usually put on events during this fortnight to help the whole school learn more about Fairtrade. Their efforts have even been rewarded with the achievement of two Fairtrade Schools awards; the FairAware Award and the FairActive Award.
Whilst it is not possible to come together in school to celebrate this year, we can still mark Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 at home.
There will be resources in your Home Learning packs or online classrooms to help our girls and boys discover how their choices as individuals can make a difference to the lives of people around the world and the planet we share. #ChooseTheWorldYouWant
