Fionn Carey in Primary Seven was selected to play for the County Down Primary Schools' Football team after a good performance in the trials at Annsborough Pitches. At half time in the Senior Championship match in Clones on Sunday Fionn performed very well in front of a crowd of almost 13 000. It is an occasion he is not likely to forget. Down seniors may be looking for a few star backs - Carnacaville's Fionn Carey is a name to watch out for in the future.
