P.3 pupils enjoyed a range of 100th day activities. On the computer, we wrote 'one hundred' in words and '100' in digits one hundred times. We also found number patterns on the 100 square. We counted 100 milk cartoon tops in a straight line and then used them to design a 100 picture. Some pupils created a 100 train using mobilo. P3 discovered they needed 50 2p coins to make 100p. We know that 10 groups of 10 cubes make 100! Finally, we found 2 digit numbers on the 100 mat using rows and columns clues.
After all that hard work, we counted out 100 gummy bears. Mr McCann came to visit, ate a gummy bear which left us with 99. It would have been a shame to waste them so we ate them all up!!
