Once December arrived we began to prepare for Christmas. Some days it was messy with a lot of paint and glitter but it was a great fun! We wore our Christmas jumpers, prepared the Advent Wreath and got the Christmas post-box ready. The big Christmas Draw came to our classroom thanks to Google Meet. It was exciting watching Mr McCann on the interactive board announcing all the winners especially the ones in our P3 class! We also loved visiting the school crib and playing games.
Aodhan was our P3 postman and got to wear his Nanny Bernie's post hat. She used to be the local post person before she joined our school catering staff. Before that her father, Eddie Keating, (Aodhan's great grandfather) was the local postman delivering all the letters to our school and he also wore the same hat!. This December Aodhan kept up the family tradition and delivered all the cards in P3 assisted by Mr/Mrs Claus, Rudolph and the friendly elf!
