This week at ICT club we have been looking at photo editing.
Photo editing has become a popular practice in today's digital world. Many people use editing software to enhance their photographs. One major pro of photo editing is that it can improve the quality of an image. For instance, colours can be brightened, and imperfections can be removed, making the photo more appealing. Additionally, photo editing allows people to express their creativity by combining different images and effects.
However, there are also cons to consider. One significant drawback is that photo editing can create unrealistic expectations. When images are overly altered, they may mislead viewers about how people or products truly appear.
We had a debate about this at ICT club. Ultimately, all the children agreed that using photo editing software is fun and enjoyable when used for the right reasons, and when the viewers know editing has been applied.
