As part of our World Around Us topic, Primary 7 have been using charcoal to draw pictures of Irish homes around the period of the Great Famine. We used the charcoal to sketch the outline and then added emphasis on certain aspects by smudging with our finger. The finished pieces were superb and made a great first display of the year. Well done to all of Primary 7. We certainly seem to have some talented artists amongst us.
