We had a superb Green Day Assembly as part of our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Every class performed something on the day. This ranged from poems to Irish songs in English and as Gaelige to céilí dancing to the story of St. Patrick and much more. Some children were able to showcase their talents on the day. We had children Irish dancing, playing the violin, the guitar, the flute and reciting poems.
We also had a special visitor to our assembly...St. Patrick. He was led into the assembly by Oisin who played ‘Hail Glorious St. Patrick’ on the bagpipes.
Well done to everyone for participating - we are so lucky to have a school full of talented children!
