As part of our World Around Us topic ‘Winter’, we learned that food can become scarce for many birds during the winter months due to the cold weather â„ï¸ therefore we wanted to help keep them full and warm by making our own bird feeders ðŸ¦â˜ºï¸
We made our own bird feed by mixing bananas, oats and raisins and spread this on pinecones, it got very messy but we had so much fun 😎 We learned that these foods give the birds the extra energy they need to keep warm during the winter 🙌ðŸ»
We will be checking on our bird feeders in the coming days to see if any of our little friends are enjoying their treat ðŸ¦ðŸ˜
