Mrs Murphy Retires

 Mrs Ursula Murphy officially retired on 31^st August after 26 years of dedicated teaching service to the pupils of Carnacaville.  She was the face of Primary One for numerous years and started so many of our children on their journey through education. 

A heartfelt thank you for your generous donations to the retirement gift for Mrs Murphy.  We held a school Mass on Wednesday 21^st October for Ursula and presented her with a travel voucher for a Theatre Weekend, which is something she really enjoys.  We also presented her with a cherry blossom tree to plant at home to remind her of her time in Carnacaville.

Mrs Murphy wrote to the pupils to extend her sincere thanks and gratitude to all in our school community who contributed in any way to the gift and in the celebration of Mass through the singing, reading and prayers.

Ursula will be truly missed by staff, pupils and parents and we wish her every happiness and good health in her retirement.
