Today we had a visit from Nanny Thompson. Nanny Thompson worked in Mount Stewart estate, looking after a little girl called Mary many, many years ago. We found out all about the life that Mary had as a child and we got to see and hear about her favourite toys. Many of the toys are different from those we play with today. The boys and girls were fascinated to hear about all the unusual pets that Mary had. The boys and girls listened so well that Nanny Thompson even allowed us to play with some of the toys!
