NI Fire and Rescue Service visit Primary 5
25th Jan 2017
Primary 5 had a visit from the NI Fire and Rescue Service. Fireman Darren McAllister spoke to the children about fire safety.
Each child received a Safety Team pack full of important information, to help them understand the importance of fire safety.
Darren introduced the children to 'Beep'- the smoke alarm and he explained to them how important it is to have a smoke alarm in their homes. He reminded the children to get an adult at home to check the smoke alarm once a week.
The children enjoyed the visit and are now busy completing activities from their Fire Safety pack in class.
