P4 Trip to Seascope

Primary Four had a brilliant time today at Seascope NI Lobster Hatchery and Marine Research Centre in Kilkeel.  The boys and girls learned lots of facts about different species of crabs and lobsters and held lots of sea creatures. They had great fun being creative on two marine art projects.  They also visited the Nautilus Centre to learn about fishing and have a look at the "Anna" skiff. It was funny dressing up as fishermen!  After lunch, we walked to Kilkeel Beach and took part in a beach clean, organised by Sarah and Sophie from Seascope. 

It was the perfect end to a wonderful day.
