The P5 class were busy this week understanding the mummification process.
They removed the organs from the body (tomatoes) and dried it out. Following this, they weighed out a natron mixture of salt and baking soda to prevent the body from decaying. The children thoroughly enjoyed this gooey and messy procedure and are excited to see their outcomes after Easter. Watch this space to see if we have successfully mummified our ‘bodies’!
