On Wednesday 14th October, the P7 pupils went on a wonderful trip to Daisy Lodge for their Open Day. We were told how the lodge provides practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people aged 0 to 24 affected by cancer & their families. We toured around the Lodge's Facilities and were shown the six beautifully furnished double family suites, the Narnia Log Cabin for teenagers, the Well-Being Centre, play areas, a games room and the therapy suites. Afterwards, we has a delicious lunch and were treated to a one hour African Drumming session which we loved every minute of! Thank you very much to the staff for having us. We had a great day!
