As part of our topic, People Who Help Us, Reception Class set up a doctor's surgery in our role play area. We invited a nurse, Mrs Flynn, and her daughter Alana (P.2) to come to talk to us about the important work nurses and doctors do. The children learnt a great deal and later enjoyed taking on the role of doctor, nurse, patient and receptionist during our Activity Based Learning sessions. It was great fun! We would like to extend our gratitude to Mrs Flynn and Alana for visiting our class and helping us.
