As we come to the end of September the children in Primary 5 have settled very well back into the school routine. Without doubt the best thing has to be the chance to learn how to play four square and play football at break and lunch. We have been learning more about ball control and developing our basketball skills in PE. In Literacy we have been learning about all of the times we must use capital letters in our writing. In Numeracy we are starting to work with big numbers and learning all about place value. Mr Knight shoots times tables at us on a Friday and you need to be quick at returning fire to stay alive. In World Around Us we are learning all about what all living things have in common. Friday is the best day of the week as we get to travel in the big bus to Downpatrick Swimming Pool where we are all learning to become expert swimmers and have a good splash around at the end.
