On Monday 4th December, P7 headed to Belfast for the day. Our first stop was the Christmas Market, we had great fun trying all the continental foods and looking at the craft stalls. We then went around the exhibition on the history of Belfast in the City Hall and even managed to get our photograph taken beside the huge Christmas tree in the foyer.
Following this, Ruby's dad invited us over to his restaurant where we were able to sit and eat our lunch. A big thanks to Mr Cushnan for the marshmallows and for our tour of 10 Square Hotel. We went to the cocktail bar on the roof to experience a fantastic view of Belfast which included gardens on the roofs of some buildings!
Finally, we walked to the Grand Opera House and watched a brilliant performance of Peter Pan. The 3D sketch in the middle will live long in our memories. It was a wonderful day enjoyed thoroughly by both children and teachers.
