Today, our Primary 7 pupils visited Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Newcastle for their Sacrament of Confirmation. As adult members of our congregation, they now take responsibility for their own faith with the support of their family and sponsor. We are so very proud of our twenty three Primary 7 pupils. They showed great maturity, positivity and dedication in preparing for and receiving this important sacrament. Their responses and participation throughout the ceremony were outstanding. They all understood their roles in welcoming the Holy Spirit into their lives. They have been working very hard over the past number of weeks learning about Pentecost, the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit. They were able to articulate that knowledge this morning with confidence. Well done to all our Primary 7 Class of 2022.
