Primary 6 thoroughly enjoyed their World Around Us topic, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. They visited Castlewellan Household Recycling Centre in October. Rebecca took P.6 on a tour around the centre and they learned about all the different skips & which ones they should use when recycling certain items.
As part of their topic, they reused tin cans and upcycled them to turn them into cool pencil pots. âœï¸ They connected this learning with Literacy and completed a piece of instructional writing. They then used these instructions to make pencil pots. Check our their finished products!
