Primary 6 were focusing on report writing in the month of January. C2K NewsDesk’s theme of the month was also report writing so firstly, we watched an article about top tips for report writing. We looked at various reports and their features. In groups, we created a list of topics that we would be interested to write a report about. We the. discussed these as a whole class. In pairs, we made our final decision on which topic we’d write about. The topics varied from ‘The History of Apple’ to ‘Walt Disney Movies’ to ‘Dinasours.’
In our pairs, we researched using the iPads then we began to create our reports using the app, Pages. We edited our reports, added pictures, changed fonts and colours then we printed them off and put them on display. Then Primary 6 presented their reports at our whole school assembly.
