An exciting week was had in P4 last week. The children who wanted to run for the Student Council had the opportunity to prepare a speech and read it out to their class. P4 listened attentively to all the candidates and then they each choose one boy and one girl to represent their class. The votes were placed in the ballot box. All of the speeches were excellent and it was a very close vote. When the votes were counted, Ryan and Annabell were announced as the P4 representatives. Well done to all the P4 students who prepared speeches and delivered them superbly!
We have decided to continue with the same Student Council Representatives in Primary 5, 6 & 7. We held our first meeting on Monday in which the representatives brought forward great ideas for the year ahead. Remember, if you have an idea which will improve the student experience here in Carnacaville, let your class representative know. They can then speak to the Chairperson (Conor) or Vice Chairperson (Ada) who will let Mrs Poland know and the council can discuss it.
