There was some very exciting news in Primary 7 this week as we learnt that one of our pupils would be representing Team Ireland in a European tennis competition next week. That pupil is of course, Niamh Lowry. Niamh, who has been training over the past number of weeks with the Irish squad in Dublin, will fly to Amsterdam on Monday to take part in a week long tournament. She will be competing against girls, who are up to fourteen years old, from a variety of different countries. This is an incredible achievement considering Niamh is still only eleven years old. All of the staff and children at St. Joseph’s Carnacaville wish Niamh the very best of luck. We hope you have a safe journey and enjoy the competition.
