One frosty morning in January, Reception class got dressed in warm winter clothes and went on a Winter Walk. As we looked for signs of winter we noticed that it felt ‘sharp and cold’. We saw a robin busy looking for food and talked about ways we could help the birds find food in winter. Everyone observed the winter trees and looked at the Mourne Mountains covered in snow. Back in our cosy classroom we’ve been having fun finding out more about winter and engaging in winter craft activities.
