Children in all classes really enjoyed learning about Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight. Eco-committee reps from Primary Six and Primary Seven were lucky enough to be invited to a Fairtrade event in Newcastle Community Cinema. They listened to an inspirational banana farmer from the Dominican Republic who talked about the positive impact of Fairtrade on the lives of his family and others. We rounded off a fun Fortnight by coming together to share our learning at a whole school Fairtrade Assembly.
