It was a glorious morning in Newcastle on Saturday when the girls and boys from Primary Four received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. The sun was shining. The girls and boys sang beautifully. They read their readings and prayers with lovely clear voices and they were all very respectful in church. They listened to everything Fr Jim told them about being good friends to Jesus and they answered his questions confidently. All of their hard work paid off.
They were a credit to their parents and to our school.
